This April, Scalini unveils its La Dolce Merenda Menu. Beloved throughout Italy, la merenda is a light snack between lunch & dinner and is lovingly prepared by mamma to feed and nourish her children afterschool. Scalini pays homage to this beautiful and sumptuous gastronomic tradition and invites guests to indulge in childhood nostalgia with their Dolce Merenda menu, restoring energy and smiles to all.
Available every Sunday from 5-7pm, the delightfully sweet and indulgent menu is priced at 110 AED per person and includes a soft and buttery homemade Brioche Bun, served with whipped butter and a selection of Marmalades, alongside tempting Petit Fours, and a choice of signature Scalini desserts, or traditional Italian Cake of the Day, complemented with fresh Lavazza coffee.
Guests can choose from an array of desserts including a generous slice of freshly baked Cake of the Day, Crème Brulee – rich and creamy vanilla bean custard, layered with crunchy caramelised sugar or decadent Nutella Cheesecake, served with banana sorbet and caramelized bananas. Other highlights include classic Tiramisu, Bombolini alla Nutella, indulgent Italian style doughnuts filled with Nutella and Chef’s Mamma Rosa’s traditional Orange & Ricotta Tart, with Vanilla Ice Cream.
Served within Scalini’s stunning restaurant or the verdant terrace, adorned with cascading foliage and bountiful citrus trees, guests will be transported to the magnificence of the Amalfi coast, evoking the blissful aura of dreamy afternoons in Italia, revelling in the ultimate sweet Sunday afternoon treat.
